History

Our story began in 1957, when the Polyken® plant opened its doors, laying the foundation for what would become decades of manufacturing know-how, hard-earned performance, and pride in doing things the right way. From the start, our tapes were built by people who showed up every day with grit, care, and an understanding that consistency matters. Over the years, Vybond has grown through change, innovation, and the coming together of renowned brands, while remaining rooted in the same plants and communities where generations of families have helped shape our products. That legacy of craftsmanship, continuity, and real-world performance is still at the core of who we are today as Vybond.
